An updated version of Water
& Steam, Thermophysical Properties for MATLAB is now available.
Version 1.1 includes new functions for
testing temperatures and pressures against the region definitions of
IAPWS-IF97, and for identifying the region in which a (p,T) point lies.
These functions will be particularly useful for programming across region
boundaries.
Also included are new functions for
establishing saturated liquid and saturated vapour properties in
IAPWS-IF97 Region-3. New functions wsr3tg2vg
and wsr3tf2vf return
the specific volume for saturated vapour and saturated liquid,
respectively. From the specific volumes one can then calculate all the
saturation properties using the other region-3 functions
